Our Vision
We envision all dancers in Maine coming together to celebrate Latin culture through ballroom style Latin dance. We hope to grow Maine's Latin dance community large enough to be a reputable, respectable Latin dance community throughout New England, the Tristate Area, the USA, and the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to collaborate throughout Maine, New England, and the TriState area with all Latin dancing entities: Dancers, teachers, performers, DJs, musicians, artists, vendors, and venues. We bring Latin dancers together in Maine through large or unique social dancing environments, including socials, congresses, convoys, classes, concerts, retreats, and cultural events.
Our Niche
We are here to introduce people to the cultural and social aspects of Latin dance. Our focus is connecting Mainers to Latin dance and culture, and getting people into safe, fun, social Latin dance environments. This will include promoting Latin events and resources throughout Maine and beyond, and organzing events such as socials, congresses, dance trips, retreats, and cultural classes.

We LOVE social dancing and host Maine's hottest Latin Dance Social every 3 months! Join us at Essencia: Latin Night in Portland, Maine. Our social features incredible DJs, introductory Latin dance lessons, live musical artists, local dance performers, a safe and inclusive dance environment, and more!

Our passion for Latin dance, music, and culture is what drives us! We want to share our love of salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, and more with those around us. From organizing cultural dance trips to refering you to resources to learn Latin dance, culture, and language, our vision is to build local appreciation and engagement with Latin culture.
